DIMS-BBA organised an industrial visit to Mother Dairy, Delhi, for first-year students.
Mother Dairy was commissioned in 1974 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). It was an initiative under Operation Flood, the world's biggest dairy development program launched to make India a milk-sufficient nation. The company is committed to providing high-quality milk and has invested heavily in installing advanced automated machines to ensure product quality, reliability, and safety.
The primary purpose of this visit was to give students a practical experience of the plant. They gained knowledge about the filtration, cleaning, pasteurisation, and packaging of milk and other dairy products. This industrial visit gave the students great insight and knowledge, and they were delighted with the experience!
