The MBA Department of Dewan Institute of Management Studies (DIMS) successfully organized a Cyber Security Certification Program conducted by Nimra Mirza, Cyber Ambassador under the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) Project, an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
The session aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of cyber security, digital safety, and responsible online behavior in today’s technology-driven world. During the program, students were introduced to various cyber threats such as phishing, identity theft, online frauds, and data breaches, along with practical strategies to stay safe in the digital environment.
The interactive session equipped students with essential knowledge about protecting personal and professional data, maintaining secure digital practices, and understanding the significance of cyber hygiene. The program proved to be highly informative and beneficial, encouraging students to become responsible and aware digital citizens.
